Data Migration

The ESB platform includes a comprehensive suite of tools to assist with migrating data into and out of the platform.

Importing Data

Data can easily be imported from third party systems using our External Data Sources module. This module is specifically designed to import data from a variety of data sources, including SQL server and flat files such as CSV.

Imports can take place as either a one-off operation, for example during system migration, or can be scheduled to occur repeatedly on a regular basis.

For more complex multi-dimensional data, an XML schema is available for importing data directly into ESB.

In addition, our implementation teams are able to develop custom integration routines to ensure that even the most complex migration scenarios can be accommodated.

Exporting Data

Data can be exported from ESB in a variety of formats, including CSV, XLSX, PDF and XML.

In addition to the standard export facilities, custom reports can be written allowing for precise control of the data being exported.

All export of data is strictly controlled based on user roles, ensuring that only those users who have been authorised to export data can do so.
