Integrating with Capita Secure Card Portal

In order to take payments using the Capita SCP payment service, please provide us with the following information:

Information about your Capita portal

The following information can be obtained either from Capita or from your IT department if you already have integrations set up to other systems. If you provide us with both live and test portals we can configure them both.

  • HMAC key (usually a mix of letters, numbers and sometimes symbols)
  • HMAC key ID (numbers)
  • SCP ID (numbers)
  • Site ID (numbers)

Information about the payment(s) being taken

For each type of payment you wish to take, we require the following information which should be available from your finance department:

  • The fund code
  • The payment amount(s)

The following optional fields may also be required - check with your finance department:

  • The payment reference (by default we will use the ESB transaction ID)
  • Narrative
  • Description
  • VAT code
