Applying your own branding to the Self-Service portal
The ESB Self-Service Portal we provide for you will be fully branded to integrate with your corporate identity.
You can either send us your HTML templates and other resources for us to integrate, or if you don't have these to hand, send us the link to a web site and we will take the branding from that site and apply it to your self-service portal.
Things to note
- We can't render our self-service portal in a frame or iframe within your existing site as this introduces security and accessibility issues.
- The branding you supply must be compliant with WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines at level AA or above so that we can ensure your self-service portal remains accessible to as many people as possible. If there are accessibility issues with your branding we will work with you to resolve them.
- Please remember that the self-service portal is a transactional web site and users will expect it to be responsive and snappy. Try and avoid sending us excessively large CSS or Javascript resources - ideally send us only the absolute minimum CSS and Javascript required for your branding to function.
Using multiple portals with different branding
We would encourage you to keep the number of portals to a minimum as this enforces a consistent brand across all your digital services. However we recognise that sometimes you may have distinct areas of your service that require their own branding.
We can supply multiple self-service portals, each with their own URL and branding, but all sharing a common core ESB platform.
If you are an existing customer working on a new project that requires a differently branded portal, please make us aware of this as early in the project as possible so we can ensure the necessary resources are put in place and no un-necessary delays are caused.
